Beth Pedersen is the Owner of Copper Social Catering + Hospitality and a lifelong hospitality professional born and raised in Arizona’s East Valley. She earned her degree in Hospitality Management from UNLV and has spent her career building and leading successful catering and events teams across Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Earlier in her career, Beth worked as a luxury wedding planner, giving her an intimate, firsthand understanding of what it truly takes to execute seamless, meaningful events from both the client and operations side.
She is passionate about creating meaningful connections through food, service, and shared experiences, and is known for bringing both polish and heart to every event she touches. Beth is especially focused on continuing the legacy of exceptional catering in Arizona while building a fresh, hospitality-driven vision centered on strong partnerships and unforgettable culinary journeys.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys happy hour with her husband or brunch with the girls, and truly believes all wine should be served in an extremely thin-stemmed wine glasses. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her cheering loudly from the sidelines at her daughter’s gymnastics meets and volleyball games.
As Copper Social’s Director of Culinary & Executive Chef, Michael (Mikey) brings creativity, passion, and years of culinary expertise to every event. Having developed his craft in some of Arizona’s premier private clubs and fine dining restaurants, he combines refined techniques with innovative flavors to create memorable dining experiences for clients and guests alike.
Mikey is passionate about developing new dishes, exploring unique flavor combinations, and elevating every menu with thoughtful attention to detail. One of his favorite parts of an event is connecting with guests—whether he’s talking food, sharing the story behind a dish, or chatting about cars. When he’s not in the kitchen creating unforgettable culinary journeys, you’ll likely find him in the gym, watching a scary movie, or adding to his ever-growing Pokémon card collection.
Rylee Carlisle serves as Copper Social’s Hospitality Partnerships Manager and has grown up deeply rooted in the catering and events industry. As the daughter of the founders of Straight to the Plate Catering, she has been immersed in the business from an early age, gaining a natural understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional hospitality, build strong client relationships, and execute seamless events.
Over the years, Rylee has had the opportunity to see every side of the business—from operations to client experience to venue partnerships—giving her a unique, hands-on perspective that continues to shape her approach today. She brings both industry knowledge and genuine passion for people, and is especially focused on strengthening meaningful partnerships throughout the Phoenix event community.
Outside of work, Rylee enjoys hiking with her dogs when the weather is nice, trying new restaurants, planning her next vacation, and going to concerts whenever she can.
